Description: |
Patent attorney trainee or patent attorney with one plus year of experience. Licensing Advisor Position. Under supervision of licensing executives, Licensing Advisors learn all aspects of patent licensing from start-to-finish at a comfortable pace, with no billable hour requirement. Specifically, Licensing Advisors will learn to prepare, finalize, and present highly technical reports, professional-grade claim charts, presentations, financial models, and other deliverables in support of licensing discussions. Collaboration with team members in respect of licensing activities is expected, including curation and development of patent analysis to support licensing campaigns bridging across a variety of technical fields. Substantial opportunities for direct interaction with representatives of licensees and prospective licensees, including legal counsel, agents, engineers, and technical experts are provided (including opportunities to draft and negotiate agreements). Licensing Advisors are also expected to create and maintain consistent campaign and portfolio information tracking accessible to team members and management, to proactively manage litigation and prosecution deadlines efficiently. Education and Experience: Degree in any Engineering or Scientific Discipline and a law degree required. Southwest. |
